My homeward looking angel

Still, not yet, only in my mind. One day, later, perhaps, in some reality not yet here. This one, or that one, or another. Somewhere in a garden of lilies and roses with a hawk swirling, sailing, in the thermal rising, drifting soundless above the pool, it's fountain singing, calling, sending us to a realm of sweet relief from the cares and worries that bring us, bind us, here, somewhere in all that not yet specified outside the whim of the one troubled mind, a homeward looking angel will stand, waiting, watching, reminding. Smiling when we know, we find, we see our time.

My junk and healing nuts

The healing nuts container appeared at a recent birthday, not that I really have birthdays any more. We'll need a better system of enumeration if we are to continue counting my advancing years.

Today, I find a new something from a peep, the one who dares edit my work and ask for additional detail. What was she thinking?

There's also a wee bag of Smarties in the mix, but that's a whole nudder matter.

My shadow

I've had this shadow for about as long as I can remember, and yes, it has a thing for my feet in that it's most often stuck to one or both as you see in the picture. It's also frequently off at an angle like an early spring mud puddle, which I find about right in my corner of the world.

It's a shy shadow. We don't see much of it at night, though occasional appearances do occur. It also doesn't care much for rainy days. Of course, I have no idea where the beast goes at those times. He keep secrets. So far, I've not received any bills from those secrets.
